When are Corner Braces Required?
Corner braces are essential structural reinforcement components required in two specific situations:
- Return panels — where the hoarding turns back towards the shopfront or lease line
- Splay panels — where the hoarding changes direction at an angle
Corner braces are required wherever an Offset Upright cannot be installed at a junction. If an offset upright can be placed at the junction, it provides the necessary structural support and corner braces are not needed.
